PENANG, 26 MARCH 2022 - WMoto has launched the ES250 scooter, which is a continuation of the WMOTO ES125 live on Facebook and the official YouTube of MForce TV, at 8:30 pm today. With the tagline Maximum Sensation, this scooter has a neat design and meticulous details.
It is also equipped with 240mm disc brakes and Anti-Lock Braking (ABS) system on the front and rear tires to provide maximum safety to the rider during emergency braking. This scooter also uses premium brand tires, namely Timsun.
The WMoto ES250 uses a smart key system where the Alarm Key Findings feature is also available on this technology. It works for the owner of this scooter to know the location of their scooter, especially in the parking area. By pressing the button on the key, the lights of this scooter will flash for a few seconds and can be seen from afar.
The WMoto ES250 244.3cc scooter is powered by a 4-stroke, single-cylinder, and 4-valve and can produce a maximum power transmission of 21Hp and 8,500rpm a maximum torque of 21Nm at 6,500rpm with a liquid cooling system. In other technical specifications, this scooter also complies with Euro 4 emission standards and is equipped with an electronic fuel injection system.
In contrast to scooters with the same engine displacement, the ES250 has a design and size suitable for all groups, especially women riders who are now increasing in number among motorcyclists in Malaysia.
In terms of equipment, the WMoto ES250 comes with a projector and DRL lights that use LED technology for longer lamp life and clearer viewing while riding. In addition, emergency lights are included and digital and analogue display panels.
The WMoto ES250 has a fuel tank with a 12-liter capacity that gives you more kilometres while riding. With a speed of 100km/h, you can travel as far as 280km before refuelling.
The seats on the ES250 scooter are made of anti-slip texture for a more comfortable rider, and under the seats, there is also a 19-liter personal storage space. While for the convenience of the riders, there is also a USB port where you can charge your smartphone and place it in the storage compartment on the front of the scooter.
For the suspension, the WMoto ES250 uses the best brand, KYB at the front (telescopic) and rear (dual-shock absorber), for maximum comfort while riding on roads with various surfaces. Owners of these scooters can also install YH Pro brand storage box accessories which are also provided by WMoto (purchased separately at any WMoto authorized distributor premises)
The WMoto ES250i will be available at WMoto authorized distributors throughout Malaysia starting tomorrow and will be sold at a starting price of RM13,888.00, excluding road tax and registration. This scooter is also offered three options: Fiery Red, Midnight Blue, and Slate Gray.
According to the Chief Operating Officer of MForce Bike Holdings Sdn Bhd, Asri Ahmad, with the concept of Economic Scooter or ES, the price offered by this new scooter is very competitive.
