KUALA LUMPUR, 24 AUGUST 2022 –  A special press conference on the participation of Mforce Bike Holdings Sdn. Bhd. (Mforce) this year’s Rimba Raid Taman Negara 2023 was held at the KL Bike Show 2023 today. At this press conference, Mforce announced they would compete with two motorcycle models, the WMOTO SX2-300 and the Moto Morini X-Cape 650X, just like last year. This year, the Moto Morini X-Cape 650X will be ridden by the same rider, Muhamad Nazmee bin Ramlee, while Muhamad Amirul bin Ramlee will ride the WMOTO SX2-300. Rimba Raid Taman Negara 2023 will start from 31 August to 3 September 2023.

Last year, the WMOTO SX2-300 grabbed seventh place overall for the C category. At the same time, the Moto Morini X-Cape 650X finished the race with an impressive position, which is the 15th place overall or the third Malaysian rider for the B category. This success proves that Moto Morini and WMOTO are the brands that other racers should fear because of the ability of these brands to finish the race. This achievement not only highlights the technical ability of the motorcycle but also shows the efficiency and endurance of the riders to overcome all the challenges provided by the organizers.

Despite an encouraging result, Mforce will not continue to be comfortable and will use a new strategy to ensure that these two competing models will grab a place on the podium. Furthermore, these riders are expected to face a more challenging and long race route, approximately 250km, compared to last year, which was only 150km. Therefore, more careful planning needs to be done to ensure success is on Mforce’s side.

Today’s press conference also witnessed the signing of an agreement between the two parties where WMOTO SX2-300 rider Muhamad Amirul bin Ramli signed the agreement, which was signed by Mr Asri Ahmad, Chief Operating Officer of Mforce. While for Moto Morini, rider Muhamad Nazmee bin Amirul signed an agreement with Moto Morini’s International Sales Department Director, Ethan.

The challenging geographical conditions of the route and the race distance of 200km, there is no denying that it tests the efficiency, mentality, and endurance of the racers and demands the best racing machinery to complete the race. Mforce’s move to continue to study and improve the strategy used in this Rimba Raid event is appropriate. The experience from the last race will be precious for Mforce to reassess the strengths and weaknesses and help perfect the motorcycles' performance during the race.
